TRANSCRIPT:
I remember a client of mine who went into a gas station. She walked past a sign that this gas station insisted was warning her that the entire floor was wet. Around 15 feet further along the hallway, she slipped and fell, broke her kneecap and had to have a knee replacement. She had to leave where she lived and find somewhere else. We were with her throughout that process. We were able to explain to the defendant that that sign was not an adequate warning. That sign didn’t make her safe because there were multiple different ways that you could approach the areas of the store and that that sign wasn’t telling you that every single spot was safe. We fought them each and every step of the way and we got a handsome recovery for our client.
