Miranda Deem

Miranda Kissick Deem began her legal career in 2006 as the Regional Coordinator/Director of Paralegals and Field Research Specialist for Rowan County, Kentucky. During this time, she led her team in building cases for Kentuckians facing foreclosure or who had already been foreclosed upon, while the “Big Banks” profited at the expense of hardworking Kentuckians who were left in financial ruin.

Miranda’s experience led her to a new way of serving her fellow Kentuckians and Americans nationwide. She joined her local community firm and was mentored by their shining star, Ms. Hoffer, who had been practicing Social Security Disability for over thirty years.

Miranda found her niche in the Social Security Disability arena and quickly thrived. She achieved wins at the local Lexington, Kentucky, and Huntington, West Virginia Operations of Hearings offices. Eventually, she branched out to national cases and earned a reputation as a determined and dedicated advocate for her clients. Some have even compared her to a lioness in her tenacity and drive to secure positive outcomes for those she represents.

Miranda believes that each client’s case presents an opportunity for her to enhance someone’s quality of life and help their family thrive.
Miranda has been a resident of Kentucky her entire life and presently resides in Morehead, KY, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Ray Deem, in February of 2002. They are a proud family of four with two sons – Cole, who is currently attending the KSP Police Academy, and Matthew, who is preparing for his freshman year of college and plans to attend law school after that.
