Sam earned his law degree from NKU’s Chase College of Law in 2025 and joined Lawrence & Associates full time as a Social Security attorney. His experience in the Social Security practice, combined with his involvement in the Kentucky Legal Education Opportunity Program, strengthened his commitment to helping individuals navigate complex legal systems.
Sam obtained his law degree from NKU’s Chase College of Law in 2025 and joined Lawrence & Associates full time as a Social Security attorney after working with an attorney in the Social Security practice area. While attending Chase, Sam participated in the Kentucky Legal Education Opportunity Program and developed a strong commitment to helping individuals navigate challenging legal systems.
Sam also volunteered with programs focused on helping young people understand, navigate, or avoid further involvement with the criminal justice system. He participated in Kentucky High School Mock Trial events in Covington, serving as a judge and juror for student competitors. He also participated in Hamilton County Youth Court, where he advocated for juveniles being diverted from the traditional juvenile court system through peer-guided accountability and family-supported resolution.
Sam was a Henry Clay Merit Scholar and was the first member of his family to attend graduate school, including law school. He passed the bar in 2025 and is licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
Before graduating from Chase, Sam worked part time in various retail roles in Kentucky while completing online coursework at NKU and Gateway Community and Technical College, where he earned his associate and bachelor’s degrees.
