How Long Will My Case Take to Settle

The time that it takes for your case to settle is largely dependent upon how long medical treatment takes. It’s difficult in most cases to settle while you’re still treating and getting better but once your medical treatment is done our goal is to have your demand package ready within 30 days of the date that you tell us your medical treatment has ended. One thing that we’ve developed at Lawrence & Associates that will help you understand the entire timeline of the case is an interactive feature that will be sent to you when you sign up with our firm. That interactive feature allows you to go in and see what our attorneys are doing at each stage of the case to make sure that we have all the evidence we need and that we’re able to present that evidence to the adjuster in a way that’s going to prompt a quick and maximum settlement. Once that demand package is sent out we demand that the adjuster get a response to us within 30 days of receiving it and if your case can be settled rather than filed in court it’s typical that you would see your money within 90 days to 120 days of your medical treatment ending.
