Meet Attorney Justin Lee Lawrence

My name is Justin Lawrence, I am from beautiful Northern Kentucky right outside of Cincinnati, grew up in the Florence area went to St Henry District High School. I didn’t decide I wanted to be a lawyer until I was about a junior in college. I was one of those kids that argued a lot and so everyone says like well you should be a lawyer. So I went to Salmon P. Chase College of Law here in Northern Kentucky. I got a bachelor degree in accounting, another one in management. About the third year in, I realized I was sort of being trained to be a mid-level manager to really large accounting firm, and I didn’t want that. I didn’t want to start over either so I thought well maybe I’ll look into this law school thing. Wound up going to law school on a full ride. I just loved it, like I loved every minute of law school when most people hate it. It turned out that I kind of fell backward into the best possible career for me. Did my last two years of law school, graduated cum laude. I opened up my shop on October 7th, 2005. I love having my own practice and it’s rewarding because I get to set the way that we practice law and establish sort of the philosophy of the firm and the way that we handle things. I think if I worked for another firm, where you know some firms are a little gimmicky, some are stuck in you know the first part of the 20th century and the way they do things, I wouldn’t like practicing law that way.
