Get StartedMeagan has joined our team in 2021 as a personal injury litigation and worker’s compensation associate attorney. She is licensed to practice in Ohio and Kentucky, and she is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
Before joining Lawrence & Associates, Meagan worked in insurance defense for nearly a decade. This experience gave Meagan unique insight and perspective that helps her better serve her injured clients today. As an insurance defense attorney, Meagan represented individuals and corporations accused of negligence, but she also worked with and for the insurance companies who retained her, directed litigation, and who ultimately were responsible for paying settlements and verdicts. Not only did this give her the opportunity to learn personal injury law and hone litigation skills, but it gave her a unique perspective in the way insurance companies evaluate and fight claims that now helps her to resolve cases for her injured clients. Meagan joined Lawrence & Associates because she wanted to be on the side of injured people, and use her skills and knowledge to support those in need. Meagan strongly believes in the jury system and trusts Ohio and Kentucky juries to deliver just results for her clients.
Meagan graduated magna cum laude from NKU Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2010. While a student at Chase College of Law, Meagan was awarded the William H. Greaves Scholarship and was an award-winning member of the Chase National Trial Team. She is a 2007 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College where she attended on a full academic scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Psychology.
Meagan was raised in western Kentucky, and today she lives in Cincinnati with her husband and 9-year-old son. They are a very active family who like to explore local parks. They also like to go hiking and camping at different state and national forests. Meagan is also a member of Mothers Esquire community who works on empowering lawyer-moms.
