Renata has joined our team in 2021 as our associate social security and Ohio bankruptcy attorney. Renata has been a licensed attorney for nine years, previously she was an extern for Judge Jeffery Hopkins in the Ohio federal court system. She volunteered for Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati and is the only attorney at Lawrence & Associates Accident and Injury Lawyers, LLC to have been licensed in two countries: America and Brazil.
Renata graduated with a LL.M master’s degree from University of Cincinnati, College of Law May 2019. She also acquired a certificate in fundamentals of US law and she is a recipient of “Cincinnati Law LL.M Honor Scholarship”. She also took a specialization course in bankruptcy 2017 from FADISP Specialized Law School in Brazil.
Renata has moved to the US from Brazil in 2018 to earn her master’s degree at University of Cincinnati. She fell in love with the Cincinnati area and decided to stay here. She loves to travel, run and read.
Renata grew up in Sao Paulo, she got her BA degree in 2012 and she practiced law there for 6 years before moving to Cincinnati and She is fluent in English and Portuguese.
